You can use the catalogue without allowing advertising storage.
Jorkli's building components catalogue receives paid traffic from Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads. Optional analytics and advertising storage depend on your choice. Reading specifications or asking about a component does not require you to allow those categories.

Necessary storage is separate from measurement.
A remembered privacy choice and a returning chat have different purposes from an advertising identifier.
Strictly necessary
The consent record remembers whether this browser allows or declines optional storage. A support-chat token connects a browser with a conversation it started. These functions support a choice you made or a service you requested; they are not a condition for viewing product pages.
Analytics
Analytics storage supports measurement of website visits and activity. It helps assess how people reach and use the catalogue. This category is optional and starts denied. Its storage permission is represented by analytics_storage.
Advertising
Advertising storage supports campaign attribution and consent-dependent advertising use. Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads send traffic here; identifiers help relate a visit to the click that brought it. Permission for advertising storage does not make an enquiry an order and does not authorize an unrelated use of your component notes.
A cookie is browser data associated with a site or service. Local storage holds data in the browser without sending every stored value with each request. This notice covers both, as well as the click identifiers visible in advertising URLs.
The Privacy Notice explains server-side enquiry and log records. Those are not deleted by a cookie button. If your concern is a message already sent to Jorkli, use Data Request.
Know which record you are changing.
The consent choice has one named browser key; advertising click IDs arrive as link parameters, not as consent records.
| Name or record | Who sets it | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
site_consent_v2 | Jorkli | Stores this browser's consent choice. No other site key persists a consent choice. | 6 months |
jorkli_chat_token | Jorkli support chat | Stores the conversation token in the browser so the visitor can return to the chat. | Browser copy remains until cleared; the chat transcript is retained for 6 months. No separate token expiry is specified. |
gclid | Google Ads | Click identifier attached to the incoming advertising URL, not the consent-choice key. | URL parameter has no browser-cookie expiry of its own. If present in access logs: 90 days; in an enquiry's referring URL: 24 months. |
msclkid | Microsoft Advertising | Identifies the Microsoft advertising click that reaches the landing page. | No cookie expiry for the URL value itself. Jorkli log copies: 90 days; enquiry context copies: 24 months. |
fbclid | Meta Ads | Identifies the click arriving from a Meta campaign. | No cookie expiry for the URL value itself. Jorkli log copies: 90 days; enquiry context copies: 24 months. |
The distinction matters: a URL parameter, a browser token and a server log do not have the same lifetime. Clearing one does not necessarily remove the others.
This register separates Jorkli's browser records from incoming advertising links. Provider cookies have their own lifetimes; the duration of an enquiry record does not set the expiry of a Google, Microsoft or Meta cookie. Check the relevant platform policy and your browser's stored-data controls for those records.
For a specific cookie visible in your browser, send Jorkli its name and domain, not its unique value. The contact route below lets us address that item rather than giving a guessed duration. Browser history can retain an advertising URL after the page is closed; history controls are separate from this site's consent choice.
A paid click can arrive before a storage choice.
Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads attach identifiers to links that bring visitors to Jorkli.
- Google Ads /
gclid - Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC provides Google Ads. The click identifier travels with the campaign link; Google also receives consent signals.
- Microsoft Advertising /
msclkid - Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd provides Microsoft Advertising. The identifier distinguishes the incoming advertising click.
- Meta Ads /
fbclid - Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd provides Meta Ads. The identifier accompanies traffic from a Meta campaign.
Finding one of these values in the address bar does not mean you selected “Allow storage.” The browser has already followed the advertising link to request the page. Optional storage remains subject to the consent state described in the next section.
Campaign measurement may connect an allowed advertising identifier with a visit or enquiry event. Your form details are handled for the enquiry under the stated data purposes. Choosing a product family in the building components catalogue does not create a customer account.
Consent Mode v2 starts with four denied signals.
The consent mode state stays denied until you allow storage and returns to denied the moment you decline or withdraw.
ad_storage- Controls advertising-related storage. Default: denied. “Allow storage”: granted. “Decline” or withdrawal: denied.
ad_user_data- Controls consent for sending user data for advertising purposes. Default: denied. Allowance changes it to granted; decline or withdrawal returns it to denied.
ad_personalization- Controls consent-dependent personalized advertising. It starts denied and is granted only with allowance, then denied again on decline or withdrawal.
analytics_storage- Controls analytics-related storage. It starts denied; allowance grants it, while decline or withdrawal sets it back to denied.
These are consent signals, not a claim that every network request is stopped. A request needed to display the site or communicate a denied consent state can still occur. Refusing storage does not erase a click identifier already present in the URL or a technical record already received by the server.
Agreeing that Jorkli may handle a component enquiry does not grant these four advertising and analytics permissions. You can decline optional storage and still authorize a reply to the request you submit.
A browser allowance also is not permission for another person using a different device. Choices apply to the browser storage where they are recorded, subject to a recognized opt-out signal. Use the same controls on another browser if you want the same choice there.
Change the choice from any page footer.
“Cookie choices” reopens the consent controls; “Decline” withdraws a previous allowance.
Choose “Allow storage” in the banner to permit optional advertising and analytics storage. Choose “Decline” to keep it denied. The banner does not block catalogue reading. If you leave without making a choice, the optional signals remain denied rather than treating silence as permission.
Open the storage controls
Use this button or the “Cookie choices” button in the footer. In the reopened controls, select “Decline” to withdraw optional storage permission or “Allow storage” to grant it.
The choice is saved under site_consent_v2 for 6 months. Deleting site data removes the browser's record of that choice, so a later visit can require a new choice. Private browsing and a different device can also use separate storage.
Browser opt-out signals
Global Privacy Control is honored. The global privacy control signal, including the Sec-GPC header, is treated as an opt-out without asking again. It keeps consent-dependent advertising storage denied and communicates the applicable opt-out from sale or sharing for advertising, including cross-context behavioral advertising.
Withdrawal changes future consent-dependent processing. It does not make previously lawful processing unlawful, and it is not a deletion instruction for an enquiry. Browser settings can remove stored cookies and local storage; removing a chat token can prevent that browser from reopening its earlier conversation.
The product information stays available.
Declining optional storage does not prevent browsing, contacting Jorkli or sending a construction-component enquiry.
You can still open the catalogue, read material notes and use the contact form. A support conversation you request still needs its conversation record and browser token. The necessary consent record can remember the decline so optional storage is not treated as allowed on the next page.
Consent-dependent analytics storage and advertising storage stop being permitted. The four Consent Mode v2 signals return to denied. Advertising personalization and user-data permissions are denied as well; choosing “Decline” is not limited to hiding the banner.
What a decline does not remove
An enquiry already sent is a server-side record. Its normal retention is 24 months, including email copies; chat transcripts are kept for 6 months, and server and access logs for 90 days. The record of your consent choice is kept for 6 months. These periods are explained with the relevant data uses in the Privacy Notice.
Existing provider data can be subject to the provider's own records and controls. A browser cookie deletion is not the same as a platform data request. You can use the policies below to find provider controls and contact Jorkli separately for a record held here.
